Leisa Rogers is our Elementary Coordinator and Special Needs Advisor. She has a Degree in Education is certified in PACE brain training and is a Certified Special Education Teacher. She has homeschooled each of her seven children, taught and tutored many, and has been a mentor and encouragement to families who have children with special needs. She has a great desire to see every child thrive!

One-on-one Tutoring and Brain Training are also available.

Foundations 1 – Pre-Readers

We will journey together 2 days a week to grow and learn together. We will learn Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic. But will also explore Social Studies, Science, Health, Nutrition, and Arts and Crafts. We will Learn, Live, and Thrive as we begin our new homeschooling year together.

Age range: 5-8

Curriculum: We will use tried and true curriculum and other fun, hands-on teaching methods.

  • English: Logic of English; Sing, Spell, Read, and Write
  • Math: Shiller Math, Math U See

College model: 5 hours per day/ 2 days per week.

Foundations 2 – Readers

We will journey together 2 days a week to grow and learn together. We will learn Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic. But will also explore Social Studies, Science, Health, Nutrition, and Arts and Crafts. We will Learn, Live, and Thrive as we begin our new homeschooling year together.

Age range 8-13

Students should be able to read at a min. of 2nd-grade level and pass a min. of Alpha test from Math U See.

Students should be able to follow directions and sit with breaks for the time needed to complete school work.

Curriculum: We will use tried and true curriculum and other fun, hands-on teaching methods.

  • English: Language Arts Through Literature, The Good and The Beautiful Creative Writing Workshop and Handwriting, Homeschool in the Woods History
  • Math: Math U See

College model: 5 hours per day/ 2 days per week.
